ABOUT US
The centre Mediterraneo- founded by the director Sabina
Fusaro in 1998- is specialized in teaching
all aspects of Italian language and culture to foreigners.
It has expanded steadily over the years as hundreds
of students have recommended us to their friends and
family.
The school is centrally
located,
just a short stroll from the Coliseum in “Monti,” one
of the most fascinating and historical
part of Rome.
The neighbourhood, which boasts unique monuments, restaurants,
coffee bars and artisan shops, can be easily reached
from most of central Rome- including the Spanish steps,
the Trevi Fountains and the Imperial Forum-by foot or
via public transport, from the Repubblica stop on the
Metro A Line or Cavour stop on the metro B line or on
several key busses, including numerous 40,60,64,71 and
170.
Mediterraneo
itself is in a charming, well maintained XIX century
building, with spacious, bright and quiet
classroom and a rich book library.
Our premises have been recently all renovated and is
now equipped with a modern kitchen for the cooking lessons
and the “spaghetti parties”. Furthermore
the school is fully air-conditioned.
